I received multiple emails from the accounts listed above blackmailing me to pay $1200 in bitcoin to this address. The emails all contained a password of mine that I have used both in the past/present. They claimed they had hacked into my computer and had access to all my files and were recording me via my webcam. They threatened that if I do not pay the money within 3 days they will release all recordings and data of mine.

lol what an asshat, got my password from a site i used 7 years ago. i suppose they got hold of a bunch of hacked accounts tied to certain emails a while ago -- and are now using that to try and scare people. at least you can go to bed safely knowing this isnt gonna do anything. i dont even have a webcam! enable 2-way verification on all your accounts just to be safe, people. peace ya'll
