Received an email in my Junk folder twice which looks like as if I have sent it to myself. It contains my old password. The email contains some information on RAT software which the scammer claims that he has installed on my device. The software has collected some videos of mine using web cam and the scammer wants $800 into this Bitcoin account to have them removed.

I get the same stupid message you all get. They got an old password apparently from my Trillian Account. Trillian got hacked a few years ago and the password I used was too simple to crack. I logged into my Trillian account using the same password and chose to delete the account. I forgot I even used Trillian. I get many emails from the same bothost. The IPs and the bitcoin addresses the bots use are never or rarely the same. My emails get forwarded to my Yahoo address and I am able to right click and check the email as a raw message. This way it's all text and no active links in the email can be recorded my IP on their end. They use envelope-from and place your email there to make it look like it came from your email address. If you check your sent folder, you won't see any emails sent out. If you do then your email account has truly been hacked and you should change your password.

I'm trying to find a commonality and I think I found it. Did all or some the people effected purchase Web Templates? They tell you that you have visited porn sites and placed in a Trojan with remote access to your camera and screen. They did guess the password but that shit is simple to do; probably used a key logger. Anyway. They give a time frame of 48 hours or they will release. Its been months and these idiots keep sending stupid emails. At this point I just block the subject, they send so much that outlook actually auto learned it was spam and simply denies it so I no longer see it unless I look in my deleted items folder. Looks like its coming from Asia...I'm Gonna Get yah! The FBI needs to get involved, I'm sure many did pay and this needs to come out. Find the owner of that bit coin account and you will either find the owner or someone who knows them....
