Abuser: Using my e-mail address

Used my e-mail address and claimed to have infected my computer with malware. My ISP host was hacked years ago and they are still using old passwords and claiming to be current. Demanded 749$ (his typing, not mine) in BTC to the above account.

Sextortion

Abuser: darknet market

He said he is a hacker and programmer that will show everyone my private information and videos if I don't pay him... "The only way to stop me, is to pay exactly 799$ in bitcoin (BTC). It's a very good offer, compared to all that HORRIBLE shit that will happen if you don't pay!"

Yet another variation on these obnoxious emails, using stolen Linked-In emails (no password in the blackmail this time) form June 2012. Text starts: Hi, I'm a hacker and programmer, I got access to your account <<email address>> Your device was infected with my private malware, because your browser wasn't updated / patched, in such case it's enough to just visit some website where my iframe is placed to get automatically infected, if you want to find out more - Google: "Drive-by exploitH". My malware gave me full access to all your accounts, full control over your OS and it was possible for me to spy on you over your webcam.

Usual drivel. Pay in Bitcoin or dodgy videos sent to contacts. 15WG3a68ZDPsYyJUkMKQkqwkvWykT74ufB My view: with sterling being so volatile (and to put an end to these plonkers who send such emails), it would be great were we to have a global crytocurrency that is regulated.
