Same as others have noted here. I got two identical emails at the same time, just the From address and MsgID were different. The password it says it hacked is one I use on several non-critical (ie., not banking, work) sites, but not with the email address to which the threat was sent. This makes me think it's not only an old LinkedIn hack as someone mentioned.

The abuser did know my weakest password, which is an easy thing to do, since I use it on non-secure websites. However, there was no malware involved in the process as they falsely claim. The whole thing is a total scam. DO NOT FALL FOR IT! The email is a template which the abuser sends to the emails linked to the compromised databases. with the password section changed to match that of each account. They claim that: "If you get this email multiple times, it's just to make sure you read it." but the truth is, it's because they send those emails in bulk to a lot of addresses at the same time. I guarantee you that the whole thing is a scam. They don't have photos or videos of you. They just managed to know your password. If they really had anything on you. let them send you a pic as a proof! They can't ;) Don't pay them anything.
