This is getting annoying. You'd think that after the first couple of attempt with me paying a penny, they'd give up, but no! Is anyone doing anything with these reports?

I am getting these pretty regularly these days. HOWEVER, I always get alarmed when they have a password that I have actually used as part of their message. Time to change all my passwords (AGAIN!).

Ransomware

Abuser: hgfd

It is useless to change the password, my malware intercepts it every time. How it was: In the software of the router to which you were connected that day, there was a vulnerability. I first hacked this router and placed my malicious code on it. When you entered in the Internet, my trojan was installed on the operating system of your device. After that, I made a full dump of your disk (I have all your address book, history of viewing sites, all files, phone numbers and addresses of all your contacts).

Blackmail scam

Abuser: just another idiot

I got a similar email last week, saying pretty much the same thing. The thing is, the passwords on both emails are wrong, and of course nothing happened to me. This moron says s/he hacked my account on 6/8/18, but I wasn't using that password back then. So no need to be scared, people. Just report the email as spam, delete it, run a virus scan to relief yourself, and forget about it.
