They said they have all my Facebook contacts, passwords, phone contacts, and pretty much everything regarding my existence. They said I have to pay 2000$ in bitcoin or they’ll mail out personal things about my to a couple of people from my contact list which is scary and not fair. Please do something about it, thank you.

They said they know my password (which is correct I don’t know how they got my password), and that they will forward a video of me masturbating to my family and friends if I don’t send 200 bitcoins, even though my webcam on my laptop is covered and I don’t ever have my webcam on. They said they would send proof to my contacts within 24 hours but never did. I’m afraid even though I have nothing to worry about. Please be careful

Recibí esta semana un correo en inglés en el que me avisaban de que conocían mi contraseña (lo cual era cierto) y me pedían 2000 dólares en bitcoin. De no llevarlo a cabo, divulgarían fotos e imágenes mías personales a mis contactos obtenidas a través de mi webcam (lo cual, sinceramente no puede ser cierto). Creo que han obtenido mi contraseña de forma fraudulenta a través de la aplicación "Zoom" que me instalé recientemente para las reuniones laborales. En cualquier caso, me he puesto en contacto con la policía y me ha confirmado que es una práctica habitual que se ha incrementado en las últimas semanas. NO HAY QUE HACER CASO. Hay que cambiar las contraseñas por seguridad y quedarse tranquilo, no disponen de imágenes tuyas ni tienen datos tuyos, es una ESTAFA.
