I received an e-mail also knowing my password (Which I don't know how they got it!?) stating my computer has been affected and to send them $900. My question is how did they get my password...?!

Trying to scam me knows my password probably signed up to something , trying to extort people, with 367 files against his name I wonder why the authorities haven’t deleted his bitcoin wallet. Rather idiotic if you ask me. If you run into the same issue just change your passwords and feel free, he has just acquired some info about you through either purchasing it online or you signed up to a shitty website. Sad douches exist but yes that’s the world for you.

Sent an email with one of my passwords in the title and demanded I pay $1200 in bitcoin or he’d release embarrassing videos of me he’d recorded through my webcam (which hasn’t been plugged in since the end of 2018). BEWARE if anyone else received this, change all accounts with that password as this guy started logging into my Playstation and Origin account as he had my email and password. However he did redeem a month of premium origin on my account right before I blocked him out of my account so thanks scammer :)

In addition to my last report, I forgot to mention he got my password from SHEIN (an online clothing store) if you don’t know where he got your details, check a website called haveibeenpowned (or something similar) where you put in your password and it shows you any websites that have been breached. I requested a new bank card to be safe and any time I put my new details in, I checked to make sure the password was different from the one he knew and if it wasn’t, I changed it to something more secure.

This is the email: I can publish all your private data everywhere and I can send the videos to all your contacts, post it on social network, publish it on the whole web, including the darknet, where the sick people are! Only you can prevent me from doing this and only I can help you out in this situation. Transfer exactly 1200$ with the current bitcoin (BTC) price to my bitcoin address. It's a very good offer, compared to all that horrible shit that will happen if I publish everything! You can easily buy bitcoin here: www.paxful.com , www.coingate.com , www.coinbase.com , or check for bitcoin ATM near you, or Google for other exchanger. You can send the bitcoin directly to my address, or create your own wallet first here: www.login.blockchain.com/en/#/signup/ , then receive and send to mine. My bitcoin address is: 1DKeRSqnY24m6qEBLshJtshhcMjhMmfYot

Said they had all contact information and ALL private information of mine and had full access and control to my computer and everything online of mine. They demanded for me to buy over a thousand dollars worth of bitcoin for them in the next 3 days or they would post all my data on social media and onto the blackweb. I see this person has been reported nearly 400 times and this Bitcoin account is still active by you. Here's an idea, delete the account and ban it.
