Attempted Blackmail scam, same as many reported already. I recieved it through my buffer/junk email. It had an old pass phrase that was slightly wrong. But close enough that it could have been a typo, it referenced my web cam, and porn from xtube... blah blah blah pay 998 USD. Or I’ll release videos of you. I checked with my email it had been compromised 5 times in the past. One thing the scammer did do was threaten to send the supposed videos should I ask for proof, involve the police or not send the money.. I wanted so bad to respond and try to troll the scammer. But I’m sure this is speculative scamming, for all they actually know that email account is inactive and only checked once every couple months just to delete old stuff.
