Sextortion threat in the amount of $2,661.00. They claim that they have me caught on a video camera recording, “enjoying myself” while watching pornography. I haven’t been to any porn sites and I don’t have a webcam set up on my PC. I haven’t even been on my desktop PC in months, so their bogus threats won’t get them a dime. Sample of the email is as follows. Lets get directly to the point. Yeah it's me final CALL !, I know ********* is one of your password on day of hack.. Not one person has paid me to check about you. You do not know me and you're probably thinking why you are getting this email? in fact, i actually placed a malware on the adult vids (adult porn) website and you know what, you visited this site to experience fun (you know what i mean). When you were viewing videos, your browser started out operating as a RDP having a key logger which provided me with accessibility to your display and web cam. End of Sample email….. All of what they said are lies, I hope that something can be done to prevent these goons from harassing honest people any further.
