United Kingdom, 2020-10-28 11:35:27'Hacker' is asking for bitcoin payment otherwise they will release user's personal information including but not limited to, their contacts, their search history and all files associated with the company. 'Hacker' has also apparently installed a form of malware on the server/router which scans users information. Hacker has spoofed my onetel email address to apparently send his threat from my own address. Possibly, only possibly, my email address was obtained by my unsubscribing from apparent spam from an employment agency yesterday.
United Kingdom, 2020-10-28 19:44:49Same as the last two reports. Claimed to have accessed email account via router and caputured private information. Demanded payment of $700 to avoid distribution of screenshots and other material.
United Kingdom, 2020-11-01 16:17:41Received an email demanding $1200 ransome so as not to expose a video alledged behaviour. Apparantly Trojan horse installed.
Botswana, 2020-11-29 09:24:39Usual blackmail scam: 1. Got access to device with some magic 2. Recorded video while watching porn (no proof given) 3. Says he will give the video to social contact if 1209USD are not paid
Germany, 2020-11-29 10:44:28Scam e-mail: +++ Hey! Unfortunately, I have some bad news for you. Several months ago, I got access to the device you are using to browse the internet. Since that time, I have been monitoring your internet activity. Being a regular visitor of adult websites, I can confirm that it is you who is responsible for this. To keep it simple, the websites you visited provided me with access to your data. I've uploaded a Trojan horse on the driver basis that updates its signature several times per day, to make it impossible for antivirus to detect it. Additionally, it gives me access to your camera and microphone. Moreover, I have backed-up all the data, including photos, social media, chats and contacts. Just recently, I came up with an awesome idea to create the video where you cum in one part of the screen, while the video was simultaneously playing on another screen. That was fun! Rest assured that I can easily send this video to all your contacts with a few clicks, and I assume that you would like to prevent this scenario. With that in mind, here is my proposal: Transfer the amount equivalent to 1200 USD to my Bitcoin wallet, and I will forget about the entire thing. I will also delete all data and videos permanently. In my opinion, this is a somewhat modest price for my work. You can figure out how to purchase Bitcoins using search engines like Google or Bing, seeing that it's not very difficult. My Bitcoin wallet (BTC): 1F2QqFbeaGZXjwMafK1JXKQvBjBsnJn41o You have 48 hours to reply and you should also bear the following in mind: ...
France, 2020-11-29 11:07:23Messenger sends an email and explains that a Trojan horse has been uploaded to your pc and they have been monitoring your internet use for several months and that they will distribute your activity to your list of contacts if you don't pay them 1200 USB in Bitcoin
France, 2020-11-29 12:30:45Poorly worded blackmail
United Kingdom, 2020-11-29 12:58:12The blackmailer states that the victim's device was allegedly infected with a keylogger and that he therefore has intimate video recordings. In order to prevent publication, the victim is forced to transfer money to a Bitcoin account.

United Kingdom, 2020-11-30 17:10:22Subject: Security Alert You need change password!
