Blackmail was submitted through a wordpress contact form. Abuser claimed to have acquired the sites database and threatened sell this database to a third party, then use this database to "systematically go through a series of steps of totally damaging your reputation". They were generous enough to give the following offer: "We are willing to refrain from destroying your site's reputation for a small fee. The current fee is $2000 USD in bitcoins (BTC)." If you have received a similar message, please do not pay the ransom - it is a hoax.
