This person sent me this email this morning trying to extort money from me by using blackmail. Although, all the threats made cannot be used as my webcam has been covered, I don't have Facebook or messenger and I don't use that password - it is old. They have stated that they have placed malware on websites and have threatened to "share a video of me" to my contacts - however, since I don't have any social media accounts they have no way to do this. They are sending these to many people.

They tried to steal personal information from me by quoting an OLD password of mine. They said they have a recording of me but my webcam is always covered so not possible. They said they have all my contacts but I am not on social media so not possible. They said they'd send it to Messenger, Facebook and email contacts - don't have Facebook and messenger and I don't save contacts on email - my email is also security locked by every verification method possible. They claimed they have all these things when they don't. They asked for $1037 and said if I don't pay they will send this video of me to "all my contacts" They also admitted to putting malware onto a website. Blackmail, attempt to extort money and stealing personal info - this is a SCAM! Do not pay these guys. Do not trust them.
