I received the same email (on 13dec20) everyone else here received, but I wanted to add that this seems related to the 2008 MySpace breach: https://www.troyhunt.com/dating-the-ginormous-myspace-breach/ mentions "The passwords are stored as SHA1 hashes of the first 10 characters of the password converted to lowercase" and the email I received contained my old password in lowercase. An additional clue is the line from the scammer, "If you need proof, reply with Yeah then i will send out your video recording to your 8 friends"; this seems to be a reference to the MySpace "top 8" feature, although that's just a guess on my part.
