The Scammer sends an email revealing a hacked password belonging to you and claims to have installed malware on your computer that records keystrokes and activates your web cam. The scammer says they have recorded a video of you viewing porn sites and threatens to distribute it to people in your contacts via email or messenger unless you pay a ransom in Bitcoin. Upon receiving payment they will delete the video. The bitcoin account is provided via a QR code.
