BTC Giveaway Offer Scam

Abuser: RobertBTC.com

Youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UCyvAoAVyo of Robert Kiyosaki being interviewed included an image with offer of receiving 0.1 BTC to 10 BTC. It stated that there was 5,000 BTC on offer and an airdrop address that you are to send the BTC to and you would receive double the amount. So if you sent 0.1 BTC you would receive 0.2 BTC. The Youtube video also provided RobertBTC.com to get more information. That website had a bar showing how much of the 5,000 BTC remained below it showed what looked like BTC transactions going to and from the airdrop address. There was a chat agent available on the site initially and I communicated with an "agent". After I sent the BTC and they confirmed that it has been received, I inquired when I would have the BTC sent back to me an they stated that it would happen withing 1-2 hours. The chat agent subsequently disappeared from the site. I contacted the company that provided the chat service, LiveChat Inc, to obtain contact information for the company that used the service but they stated that they could not divulge any contact information for their clients. When I last checked the site, RobertBTC.com, in the evening of 5/8/2020 it was showing 83 of the 5,000 BTC remaining. When I checked it on 5/9/2020 it is still up and showing 200+ BTC remaining of the 5,000 so I suspect that the alleged scam is continuing. On 5/9/2020, I browsed the site from another computer and it showed 3,000+ BTC remaining so it appears that it also tracks which computer has visited and shows a different amount. I blocked cookies from the website and it did not update the counter so I know it is using a cookie as part of the scam. I tried to do a Whois lookup on the website but the site uses WhoisGuard to block their contact information from Whois lookups. I would suggest that affected persons file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (https://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx) and the FBI.
