This is a scam where someone will get in touch with you via social media or dating apps and then convince you to 'invest with them'. The trouble is the platform they use to supposedly invest is a total scam. Once the scam artist has taken as much money as they can, they will block you and the platform will come up with various excuses not to pay you back your money.
