A guy is trying to blackmail me, and get money out of me. He says that he has videotapes of me doing “Nasty things”, and that he will send it to 10 of my friends, if I don’t send him 2000$. He has gotten my email, and my password to my email. He also says that I have 24 hours, before he will send it to people. This is false information but it still annoys me.

Automated emails using very (10+ year) old hacked email/password list, trying to convince you they have incriminating evidence. The password they claimed was mine, is one I only ever used on third tier website sign ups, in case they ever got hacked. I found the password in hacked password lists 15+ years ago, and changed the few unimportant sites I had used it on (obviously one of them had been hacked). If you came here because your e-mail and password WAS STILL VALID, your password as been around for over a decade on the underbelly of the web, and you need to change it ASAP. The scammers claims are all fake and generic. The email/password combos they are using are from old hacks, long publicly searchable (try whatever the scammer sent you on duckduckgo.com, no filters, should come up).
