I received the same scam email that most everyone here did. And would like to offer some advice to users that are possibly less tech savvy. 1. I use Chrome OS on my main computer. This OS does not have the ability to be controlled by "installed viruses" or remotely. I highly recommend Chrome OS. 2. For those windows users a piece of notebook paper taped over the lens of your web cam means you control who sees what (I do it when I use my windows laptop) as a precaution. Use common sense...google is your friend (unless you're a right wing conspiracy theory nut).
