Sextortion

Abuser: purportedly [email protected]

Yawn. This month's iteration of the same tired sextortion scam, with a stale password in the subject line as "evidence" of having taken over my system, followed by threats to send (non-existent) compromising videos to all my contacts. I _still_ don't understand how people fall for this--if this loser truly had that kind of system access, he wouldn't bother installing video software on the off chance I might do something embarrassing, and he certainly wouldn't be boasting about it. He'd instead be quietly running up charges on my credit cards before I noticed.
