I received a threatening email saying they know my password and have a ton of information about me because their malware was put on my computer when I visited a porn site. They said they have a video of me masturbating and will send it to random people on my Facebook contact list. I knew it was fake because I don’t have a Facebook, don’t visit porn sites, my laptop has been down for a year and I just had a baby so there has been no masturbating here for a long time. I also know the password they have was sold on the dark web months ago. That’s an old password I don’t use at all anymore. If you get an email asking you to send them money or they’ll forward your sexy video to your contacts, ignore it! They said I had 24 hours from the time I read the email and they’ll know I read the email because they have special software that will alert them. Well it’s been 36 hours, I haven’t sent them anything and nothing has happened. DON’T SEND THESE JERKS ANY MONEY! It’s fake!
