I received an email from a [email protected] demanding US$500 in exchange of not sending to my contacts (from my Microsoft Office Outlook) supposedly videos of myself "masturbating" [I have no need to do that)] and my "web browsering" history (these sites are generally blocked by family filter) and captures of my web cam (which I had gotten disabled by the way!) however it caused me an embarrassing call at midnight to the IT department. since only them can change my credentials. I have run multiple scans on and offline of Windows Defender and thankfully there was not any dodgy software or anything alike. also my RANSOMWARE shield is up and running smoothly.

Hacked my college email and threatens to send videos of me "masturbating" to my contacts. This is the most disgusting email threat I have ever seen. They demanded 500$ in bitcoin. I changed my password but I wish there was a way to track the hack and the device from which they were able to steal my contacts list, if that happened at all.
