An email in Finnish asking the industry standard USD 1500 ransom in Bitcoin to be paid. You have 50 hours to pay the ransom. The Finnish language of the email is very poor so it's not a good way to blackmail people. "Olen kokenut kehittäjä, joka onnistui murtamaan käyttöjärjestelmän laitteellani. Olen nähnyt sinut kuukausia. Virukseni tartutti laitteesi äskettäin vieraillun aikuisille tarkoitetun sivuston kautta."

Email written in Finnish claiming to have hacked the operating system on either the sender's or the recipient's device (see below). The sender claims to have infected the recipient's computer during a visit on an adult site, having gained access to the camera and having recorded compromising video on recipient's device, threatening to send it to a list of contacts unless $1500 USD is paid to the wallet specified. The text has a poor grasp on the person forms of Finnish grammar ("my" and "your" get mixed up), so at times it is unclear who exactly is being referred to. The sender claims to have evaded detection by antivirus programs by a "driver" that gets updated every 4 hours. Needless to say, this was found in a spam folder.

Wann Sie besuchten die pornografische Webseite ich habe angesteckt Ihr Computer mit dem Virus, der sicherte mir vollständigen Zugang zu Ihr Gerät, inklusive die Kamera, das Mikrofon, die Anrufe, die Messenger, zu all dem was geschieht am Bildschirm, zum Telefonbuch, zu Passworten aller sozialer Netzwerken und weiteres. Um das Handeln meines Virus zu verstecken, ich habe gebastelt ein sonder-Driver, updated alle einige Stunden und daher vollständig unnachweisbar.
