They try to convince you by showing you a password they supposedly stole, but they come from database leaks from some sites and are sold on the internet, in my case it is a password from a site I haven't used in years.
If you usually use the same password for everything, change it immediately for the most important sites such as email services, social networks, bank accounts, etc.
