Hacked into coinbase account

On 22 September 2020, my Coinbase account password was reset via email from the IP address: 5.181.233.204 (traced to Torrevieja, VC, Spain). After resetting my password, the attacker entered the new password and was able to obtain a verification code sent by SMS to my verified mobile number. This device was also confirmed for use with my account via the new device confirmation link sent to my email address. The attacker was able to establish TOTP Authenticator confirmed by the phone codes. My mobile is registered in Malaysia, and as far as I knew my SIM card was functional, but the TOTP sent my SMS was not received.
