The email address and password appear to have been harvested from the Yahoo data theft of August 2013 based on the age of an outdated password. So, the claims of the blackmailer about installing a keylogger, or doing a webcam recording, or accessing the contact list -- those are all bluffs. Also, I read through the raw email and all the HTML and there is no web beacon, nor hidden pixel, nor other http link in the markup language, so the blackmailer simply lied about that.
