Blackmail scam
Abuser: [email protected]
Today we received a sextortion email (see "Sextortion email" ("Jan 15th, 19") at https://bitcoinwhoswho.com/address/1J23A8imUgdT5RQm2by3G4UVMiDBWpabbE/urlid/13036220). The following articles about sextortion emails might be of interest: "Sextortion Scam Uses Recipient's Hacked Passwords" (https://krebsonsecurity.com/2018/07/sextortion-scam-uses-recipients-hacked-passwords/), "Sextortion scam knows your password, but don't fall for it" (https://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2018/07/13/sextortion-scam-knows-your-password-but-dont-fall-for-it/), and "Beware sextortionists spoofing your own email address" (https://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2018/10/15/beware-sextortionists-spoofing-your-own-email-address/).

Ransomware
Abuser: The blackmailer who the wallet [3905288de1]
The blackmailer who the wallet [3905288de1]used with 6 bitcoin addresses transfers the extorted amounts to the wallet [0357c369e0]. This is obviously the biggest nonsense, paying with Bitcoin is anonymous so the scammer cannot know who the money came from (there is no sender). The story as described in the mail is therefore incorrect and is not based on truths.
