Reading some reports. I think I can tell that this is really a scam. Someone just picked up a password list from a disposed hard drive and use this info to send people e-mail, then pretend hacked the people's PC ...but actually not able to do. I even read report of people begging this guy to post their videos, but look like it never happens. I'm sure that the simple reason is this person has nothing. Get a life man.

I just checked my junkmail box and found that this saveyourself65 person has sent multiple to me for the last month or so. If he's really giving me 3 days, it's way passed that time period already and nothing happened. I think I'll simply ignore the guy. Anyways, the e-mail has its default inbound rule that put this guy's e-mail to my junkmail box. So, his e-mail will be automatically ignored by me.

You owe me my popularity, and you wish I'll pay you bit coin? I have a can of dog food to spare, but you can even have it

Showing one of my old password to caught my attention, and then claims that he has control of my PC by putting malware because I've visited some website. Then threaten me that he has use my web cam and captured some ugly video of mine. Ask me to send $900 bitcoin or he will put the video online. One major flaw; i.e. I don't have a web cam. You need to be smart in order to be a criminal. With your intelligence, be careful that you might get caught.

I've heard of this scam b4 and not sure if it's real. Finally, I've got this e-mail saying that he has got video showing me doing bad stuff, and ask for $900 bitcoin. I wonder even if I pay that, how does he know it was me sending him the bitcoin? He has no information showing to me that he can identify who I am. Furthermore, he is trying to use those fake e-mail address to send me the e-mail, but he claims that he can tell if I've read his e-mail. Now, the fact that he's using a fake sender e-mail is to avoid being traced. Such e-mail address is basically invalid ... how could my e-mail client send him back the notification that I've read his e-mail or not? Stupid jerk.

Read some reports saying that there are good hackers that help people to recovered a certain % of paid bitcoin ransom. Does it mean that bitcoin is not a safe platform, because there are evidences and witnesses proved that some hackers are able to take bitcoin from any accounts. I will definitely not doing anything via bitcoin.

I've got his e-mail 5 times already and they are the same. In the e-mail it says will be able to tell if I've read the e-mail or not, then why send the same e-mail 4 times to me? Saying something like if I don't pay 3 days, he will put my video online. Then why still keep sending the same e-mail after 2 weeks? Come on, you have got nothing but 1 old password that I haven't used for 8+ years. At least use something more recent.

After that I removed my malware to not leave any traces and this email was sent from some hacked server. I can publish the videos of you and all your private data on the whole web, social networks, over email of all your contacts. But you can stop me and only I can help you out in this situation. The only way to stop me, is to pay exactly 900$ in bitcoin (BTC). It's a very good offer, compared to all that HORRIBLE SHIT that will happen if you don't pay! You can easily buy bitcoin here: www.paxful.com , www.coinbase.com , or check for bitcoin ATM near you, or Google for other exchanger. You can send the bitcoin directly to my wallet, or create your own wallet first here: www.login.blockchain.com/en/#/signup/ , then receive and send to mine. Use an old password to draw my attention and pretend he's hacked my PC and recorded all my data, and threatened me that he will put my personal info on the internet. Beg for $900 bitcoin and he will delete all the data. If he being reasonable to ask for $2, may be I will consider paying (for his effort). Begging for $900 just getting 1 old password, learn some real hacking/computer skills first.
